Is this a jack o lantern?

Found this growing out of the ground but it could have be coming from a buried log or root. I've seen jack o lantern pics but they didn't look exactly like this specimen. There were three more growing nearby in a straight line which is what leads me to believe they were sprouting from a tree root.

I was hoping it was a chicken. There were several more that I may go back and check on. I am overly cautious with my discoveries.

the ones i find like those are more woody like but still good if ya find them young enough which it looks like you may have
