A log full....

Went out today looking again...no morels, but found some chicken of the woods on this log just starting.........
And my 3 grandkids!:smile:
Austin: 8 yrs. old, Brittaney:7 yrs. old(Our Little Princess) & Zachary: 6 yrs. old.

AWESOME!!!! My wife would be torturing you for info on where to find that log. The chickens are her very most favorite! I don't know if I told everyone the story of her on her way home from the dentist last year and saw a chicken fairly high up on a tree next to the road. Well, in true mushroom hunter fashion, she pulled over, accessed the situation, and proceeded to try and knock it down with an umbrella! :grin:

Wish I could of seen the cars passing and the looks on their faces!

The kids love their sticks. I made those for em"(one of my favorite pastimes!)...
Brittaney's has a Princess face for the Morel and says: Brittaney...Princess Morel and Austin's has "The Incredible Hulk" face for his Morel and says: Austin...The Great Morel Hulk. Zachary had a cool stick but he beat it to death on a tree a couple of years ago...so until he gets a little bit older he uses Austin's old stick..or a stick in the woods...LOL! I hope to get back into making sticks and offering them again here in the Sale Forum once I'm feeling better!:thumbup:
