Just got word bro had a heart attact. third one of us to have one he was at work (He works at a ST. V's in surg unit) Not doing well hate to loose him.

Sorry to hear the news. They can perform miracles now. The survival rate is tops if treated within an hour. My thoughts are with you and your brother!!!!!!!

well just returned from the hospital, he has 3 stints in right vent, thats all they can do for now. The left artery is 99% blocked and the rear one is totally blocked. The good thing there is he has grown calaterals. The heart itself is not functioning well on the top and the bottom not at all. He is not breathing on his own and is sedated to keep him calm and from pulling tubes out. Thank you all for your prayers and will let you know more as we know more.
Sad part is his son turned 10 today.

It does indeed sound quite bad Webeable and Bgirl, but remember that with God, all things are possible.

We know that God can and does work miracles. Your brother in law is in good hands at the hospital and God will guide the Drs in his care. Prayers for all of you are on thier way.

Will do bgirl, I understand the fright you are going thru, right now, I remember when Dad had a quad on his heart, never have I been so afraid in my life, will keep the lord and his son and your family in one thought. miker

He's doing ok. He will be sedated for first 24. He was in good spirits before surgery, had picked his team from his pool of friends and coworkers. Will let you know more as we know more but he is on the mend.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOO!! Oh, sorry, I was back home in Gods Country for a minute. Wait a second, I'm still in Gods country......WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Thats GREAT awesome news.....!!!!!!

Thank you all for your prayers. Was up to see Karl today and he is off oxygen and up walking around. The biggest news of all he is going home on tomorrow. He's happy to be home by his birthday. Thanks again Mike.
