the ones in pic #3 all have pink gills except the older one that has dark brown gills------------I can take more pics of gills since I still have the mushrooms

I'm guessing that these were found in a wooded/non-grassy area Mary?

A. silvicola would be my first assumption. A. placomyces might be another choice.

Rex is A. placomyces the mushroom that we commonly refer to as the 'woodhorse?'

I sure find a ton of these in my woods.

Thanks Doug,

The placomyces that greys shot, are what I have always referred to as Woodhorse. I see them deep in the woods alot.

A. silvicola...I don't see in the woods.
