She came through the surgery well and we still know nothing maybe monday. She rested well through the nightand was being moved out of ICU. Even though my brother is still off work he did however have a hand in picking her surgical team and had what he felt was the best. They took 4 biopsies from her brain and 1 from her leg. They are all fresh for testing due to size, They are doing a stain smear to check for infection.
Thank you all for your suport and your prayers, May god bless you all.

She was moved to a nursing home today (saturday) So she is closer to us, and may have a better chance to rest.

Mike, what a lucky man he is. Someone was surely looking after him. It was not his time. So happy for all of you. Judy

How sad to hear. I will say a prayer for all of you and especially Mike's Mom, that she has a gentle passing. I guess a coma would be a blessing in the end, with an agressive cancer like that. Has she chosen to try the chemo?
In my thoughts and prayers...

At this time she has chosen no treatment, basicllly treatment would be palitable, meaning not curing but for pain only. She has no headaches, so she is not in discomfort and radiation is the given treatment and at her age would only be ten compared at 6 weeks worth if she was younger and in better health.
All I hope is that she slips into the everafter with no pain and discomfort. The main thing is that she will be back with dad in the near future and she has missed him for many years.
We all would like to have her as long as posible but the main thing is she does not suffer.

Thank god she did eat today, we were scared that she might try to starve herself to hurry the end. We now have her set for a slumber party saturday night and that excites her greatly. She does seem to enjoy the fact that I am willing to cradle her like a newborn child, and put her in bed. her spirits are picking up some.

My heart goes out to you and your family at this very difficult time. My Mother and Father both died of cancer. It's not an easy thing to go through. The best thing to do for your Mother and for yourselves is just to be there. My prayers are with you during the coming days ahead.

So, so, sorry to hear this news. I'm familiar with this cancer as I cared for someone with it, and a friend of the family also had the same. I will send prayers for Mike's mother and the family. It can be very devastating to witness the last month, as it is a sudden onset. So please be strong and give her much comfort. My prayers are with you.

Bonnie and Mike,
So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, but it was quick and that is good. I was so at peace for being with my mom and father-in-law when they passed with cancer. When you are there you know exactly how it went and usually that is very peacefully.
I still feel badly that I wasn't there for my dear brother-in-law. We actually were given a room to stay in and were there day and night for 7 days. I had just gone home to check on the kids when I got the call. He is also in a better place but oh so young. Only 41 years old and Harold's only brother. May you know we all have you in our hearts and prayers. Judy
