Hey, I guess it is my turn. This morning my mom was rushed into the emergency room with trouble breathing. She has pnuemonia and septis which is an infection to her whole system. She is 77 and has lived a good life, but she had a stroke 2 years ago and that has left her slightly disabled physically and mentally. Spent some time with her there today and it was sure hard to see her in such discomfort, gasping for breath and rattling. She has an oxygen mask on and is hooked up to intravenious antibiotics. The next 16 hrs will tell if it looks like she will pull out of this. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure that would necessarily be for the best. I watched my father pass from lung cancer 13 yrs ago and it took 6 months of awful suffering. I just hope, that if it is her time to go, that she goes in a peaceful and comfortable manner. If it isn't, then I pray she can pull out of this quickly and not suffer too much more. She has put in her share, surviving the major stroke, before that breast cancer and a few other near death experiences. Thankyou.

I've sang at Bostwick Lake. Sharon Terbeck used to be the choir director there. As you say, "It's a small world".

So sorry to hear of your mothers' illness. It's so very hard to see our loved ones in situations we have no control over. I hope and pray for Gods will to ease her struggles.
