Here are the blacks I found Sat. and 2 hours Sun. morning. Went out w/ Jon Highlander, had a great time, we walked miles, and then found most in another spot where we didn't have to barely walk at all!

Nice pics, and nice shroom bags btw. Any chance they come in camo?

Nice work guys.

That's a haul.

Were all of the blacks in or around moss? Every one I have found has been.

Nearly all of the blacks we found this weekend were just starting to poke out of the leaf litter.

The bags are actually laundry bags folded in half and tied, a little custom trick that works pretty well. No camo though, at least where I bought them (grocery store)

I made a video showing the area and terrain, and also the mushroom picking!

Love those bags too! Course if they were mine, they'd look silly with 3 or 4 tiny morels roaming around in the bottom...

That video made me want to leave for up north today, but I gotta wait 'till the weekend......awwwwwwwwwwww, I got the fevor real bad for the blacks. Last year, our best batch too, we dehydrated them and they got burnt up.....dehydrator went to hell and took my mushrooms with it. Never again!!! From now on it's the nylon window screen and a box fan. Anyone know how to dry leeks....what's the best way?
