has went to the hospital. We are not sure at this time why she is feeling so sore and hurting so bad. Please pray for mom that she gets awsers that she needs and rest she desires. She is on pain medicine at this time and as of yet, I have not been called up to see her. When Jim (dad) knows something he will let me know, I will post soon as I hear anything.

Saying prayers as I type this...like miker, I'm worried, but trust in Him to protect and care for our sister. Your mom is such a special lady...as well as a dear friend. Please let her know that we're praying for her, and keep us posted as you get more info.

Morelmaniac here on mom's computer, wanted to give a quick update. The kidney stone that they thought was the problem is not a problem at all. It is still in her kidney and could take years before it IS a problem. My mom (DGBAY) has been diagnosed with Digenerative Disc Diesease (DDD) in the past and from the MRI took yesterday they noticed that three of her lower discs in her back are inflammed. This is from the DDD so they are putting her on stronger meds and will probably keep her the rest of the week to see if she has any relief or progress. My kids and I are going to see her now and I will let you know if any more news is heard.
Tammy, mom still has you in mind....
OT, I am sure mom misses the morning chats ya'll have also. Wish I was able to be on more to conference with ya both. Hope things are going well for you and hoping the best for you from mom and I both.
Thanks everyone for continued prayers and thoughts for DGBAY
Your frined,

Morelmaniac here.
Thanks everyone for the nice thoughts and prayers. Mom should be comming home soon now. (before the holiday we are hoping) She got some pain medicine that is controlling her back pain and the doc is hoping it will give her comfort at home. Even though she will not be comming home with the IV drugs he is hoping that the medicine that they have her on will give her enough comfort to allow her to easy back into her routine. Mom is so thankful for all the prayers that are comming from all you. She sounds so much more like mom now and is doing well. She was able to walk yesterday by herself and surprised my dad at how far she went. Also dad took this pretty hard. It was hard for him to rest at night knowing mom was lying up in the hospital. Yesterday mom said that she told dad to go home and take a sleeping pill.... ...to help him relax. He sounded rejouvanated this morning and things seem to be well.
Thanks to all.

Mom got released from the hospital this morning and she is doing great. Usually they want you or excpect you to go straight home when released. Mom had so much of an energy spurt that she had to do some "Bunny" shopping for the grandkids. I went over to visit her after I was done with my errands today and she seemed to be in good spirits and happy to be home. She looked 110% better than in the hospital. Thank God the meds are working. I am sure she will be getting on here in no time to express her sincere thankfulnes for all the wonders of the power of prayer.

 Hey Guys! Thank you so much for your prayers!!! I'm back...and feeling...well.....( feeling no pain!)...I'm perty' medicated:omg: O.K. so I'm a "LOT" medicated!!!!! But, thank God this mystery has been solved. I was admitted Sunday morning in such excruciating pain that I had to be lifted with back boards. I was physically parilized "with pain". I had blood work, x-rays, then CTscan, then the dreaded ole' MRI....and everytime I had to go down for my tests they had to use a back board, or have 4-5 guys scoot me using my bed sheets under me to pull me over to the testing tables! It has been a long 5 days, but at least now I have a diagnosis. My doctor will be referring me to a neuro specialist. And like MM said, I already have the DDD in my neck...and now its in my lower spine...and my pain is caused by bone spurs pinching the nerves in my lower back spreading around to the front of my lower abdomen and then down my left leg. But, the very very strong variety of pain medicines I am on now will keep me pacified until the specialist decides what needs to be done. I know this is lengthy, but you are all very special to me, and I have a lot of confidence in your prayers, so I want to be thorough. I appreciate all of you.....you are all the best!!!! Thanks again for all your prayers!!!!

Deb,
Really great to hear you're doing better!
As you may or may not know, I'm familiar (unfortunately) with DDD. And my heart goes out to you, as I know what you have been going through. When you meet with the specialist and "IF" he brings up "fusion", please let me know. There is a new procedure and device that originated in California that they have been working on for several years. (It gives more mobility and less recovery time!) They JUST started doing this procedure in Michigan.....but last I knew, they were trying to get the insurance companies to accept it. Maybe it's available in your area.
I'll be praying for you to heal without any surgery.
Heal Fast!! God Bless~

Thanks Tracey... yes...I'll have to have my specialist explain that to me...and find out more about that.
Thanks again everybody for your thoughts and prayers and I know you will all continue to keep me in your prayers.

Thats fantastic Dgbay. My dad had to have a cusion of silicon after they opened up his verterbrea for a pinched nerve. It was making him lose feeling to his left leg and he eventually fell on it so hard he broke his knee cap. Thats when he finally went to get surgery done. The surgeon went in from the back and opened up three vertebrea and cushioned them with a some sort of cushion ( silicon ?) and he was walking the next day. He did not want to be fused or have anyone that talked of going in from the belly touch him, I think he said those are outdated methods . Hes never felt bettter.
