Wow,10# of chants, that is awesome stever.:thumbup: i should come down to your neck of the woods for some edible chants.It seems that most of the chants in my area already have worms in them before they emerge out of the ground.:(

All were from up north. Lots of slugs, but we got them before the bugs did

Way to go. It has been a good year for chants here. Not too many yellows, but tons of smooth chants. I am starting to get tired of picking them. Have grabbed at least 20 in the last three weeks. I got 10 lbs alone yesterday in about two hours (I had to take a 20 min rest from the heat). Looks like those are mainly yellows in the pan.
Do you guys get a lot of smooth chants in your neck of the woods?

Not a whole lot stan, but I do know of a place me and the mudpuppy5959, stumbled onto a few years back where they are plentiful,mike
