Been a year for the record books here in Maine. Chanties and trumpets, many in places I have not seen them in past years.

The chestnuts that flush in my yard are up in full force. Spent a few minutes and got these.

I also found this tanish mushroom with lavendar gills.

Anybody know the ID on this one?

That last one looks like the standard purple gilled lacaria I find around here in early August.

The stem looks hairy like the purple gilled. If it is try them out, not much for flavor but great texture when added to chant and other mushroom dishes.

thanks. The gills going down the stem sort of threw me.
