This is another book by David Arora. I hadn't planned on buying it because it clearly states it is for Western mushrooms. After Rex a.k.a. Ohio transplant, said he has it and I should get a copy, I did. At first I was disappointed it was so small but then again it says it is a hip pocket field guide. Although it does cover mushrooms that we don't find here in the East it is a really fun book. Compared to some of the others that just stick to the standard information. Arora has taught mycology for a long time and you can see by reading his books he has found a way to "spice" up the topic.
