Oatmeal cake

1 1/2 cup boiling water with 1 cup of quick oats set aside
1 teas. soda
1/2 cup margine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teas. cinnamon
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup of self rising flour 1 teas. vanilla

mix and bake at 325 for 30 min. or more.

Topping
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1 teas. vanilla
1 cup choped nuts (fine)
1 small can of evaporated milk
6 tab of butter
Mix everthing together put in double boiler untill it bubbles pour on top of cake
