Glenn, I think I read something about the Graylings not being edible too. Most books say they are though. I think they taste kind of like Shaggy Manes. I tried about 30 or so of them just sautéed in butter. This was the first time I tried them. They're kind of small, but quantity makes up for it.
I've had both T. terreum and flavovirens but I really liked terreum the best. Flavovirens was hard to clean . Getting all the grit out of them. When I picked them they were just mush-humps.
I'm still learning the areas up here. It's all new, but I'm finding new mushrooms too, that didn't grow downstate. At least where I hunted. A couple in particular are yellow foots & Sparassis crispa .

Audubon Guide lists Graylings as a "good" edible.

Tom, I used Imovie on my Imac. It's what came with the computer. I've also got Adobe Toast 11 but haven't figured it out yet. ...LOL

Cool thanks! I just bought a new phone and it seems to be smarter than I. It does have video editing software but I am still learning to use it, but I hope to post videos of my finds in the future. Thanks!
