Rain total for Berrien County today 5.28 so far since 7 this morning

There is still a lot of standing water in many farm fields in Benton Twp. where I live. We were on the verge of another drought, but I think that has ended.

Too bad we didn't get this at just the right time during morel season.

I'm not sure how much we got here in St. Joe. county. My rain gage was full but I had forgotten to empty it from the last rain so it already had a couple inches in it.
It would have been nice if it had been spread over the summer. We only got one cutting of hay and it wasn't very large.
But with the problems that other areas are having I'm counting my blessings.

Actually had thunderstorms this morning in Berrien Co. Too bad it's not April...the morels would be popping. :wink:
A lot of standing water still in fields in Berrien Co.
