I couldn't get the image to enlarge so I'm just going by what I can see in the thumbnail image but I'd say those were oysters. Did they smell good... perhaps a bit like anise?

I have found morels growing in the garlic mustard. I also try to pull it and eat it... but it's rather horrible when cooked.

If you do pull it be sure to dispose of it in a trash can so it can't...

Eric, I only found 5 small blacks in the Cadillac area. I've never hunted up there so it could be I just didn't know what I was doing. One of them was spored out and stood less than 3 inches tall.
