We've got about an inch of snow on the ground currently in Berrien County.
The water table has been high since last fall, and after the flooding last month, there are still flooded farm fields in some areas.
The trend for the last few months has been above normal precipitation, and normal to slightly below normal temps. (With brief warmups)
I think if that trend continues, it will be a lot like 2003, which was a cool wet spring, and an excellent morel season. However, unlike 2003, we no longer have a lot of living Black Ash trees around MI for them to grow around.
