That money is only two tanks of gas now a days. The money belonged to my hunting partner, it takes two to make a mushroom run now. We had a lot of fun. Large woods in Ohio are miles apart. So if you live where the jobs are you have to travel to get to nature. The only woods left in Ohio are those not suitable for farming and they are usually hilly and rocky.The chanterelle where well spread out and the large ones seem to be in transitional areas, areas where the woods would thin out and sun light had more access. The lobsters seem to prefer darker areas with thick cover and downed trees and limbs.
