Another mystery mushroom
Saw these in my neighbors yard. First one I've seen pics of somewhere ? 2nd is a type of bolete ? Anyone know what they are ?

I'd say the first ones are Lactarius deliciosus because of it's purpelish latex and turning green with age. The second looks like Tylopilus rubrobrunneus, the bitter bolete.

Hey Jack, I think you got the first one. Looked it up & didn't sound like a good one to eat, said dispite the name {delisciosa} It was only fair for the table. The second one I did try & was not bitter. They tasted very good. Going by the rule of no red-orange pores & no staining blue boletes or suillus . The lacterious was a cool looking mushroom though, very colorful.

Don't know if the picture went through , if so, these were some bitter boletes I tasted and they were bitter.
