Great find. A word of caution, be sure to only eat a little bit and wait at least 24 hours or more to see if you have any adverse effects. Although Morels and many other mushrooms are considered edible they are still considered poisonous and can cause issues to some people. Try like a thimble size amount and wait. I do this each year even though I know what morels are, just to be safe. After all our bodies and tastes change. Also, save some of the batch you try just on case there is a problem. This advice has been passed onto me from my father and others and has done me well. I pass it on in hopes that others will do the same.
