I filled the Kroger bag to the top bulging!!

I only found 3 today, one was quite large, the other decent sized, in Berrien Co. I assume you found yours in or near Oakland Co. This looks like the week for yellows across the Southern third of Lower MI.

Does the arrival of yellows mean the end of the others?? Been a long time as I had neck and back surgery..

Depends on the microclimate. In Van Buren Co., you can often find big yellows inland around Paw Paw and Gobles, while along Lake Michigan around Van Buren State Park near South Haven fresh blacks may still be coming up.

jochs is totally right. microclimate is everything. i have spots that are just getting going, while others i've already picked bigger blondies out of. try and find cooler areas that dont get as much sun and exposure.
