This young man from Brighton Mi. lost his life to a roadside bomb on 12/19 while on a route clearing mission in Hit Iraq, he was my nephews girlfriends brother (21 yrs old) he was 5 weeks from being done in Iraq, and less than 6 months from finishing his 4 years in the armed services, he passed up his Christmas leave so he could get back to his family sooner this summer for good. He will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery following a service in Brighton this Friday
please remember him in your prayers and all the other soldiers who risk or have given there lives also.

God Bless them all.

My prayers are with him, his friends, and his family. May god watch over our soldiers and guide them. May god bring them home safe. I pray.

Just when you think you aren't going to find any morels, something pushes you to climb that next hill. And once you get over that hill, guess what you find? That's right. NOTHING!

I got an email from my brother (he lives in Brighton also) about this poor young man. So sad to have lost his life so close to coming back home. They are brave and tough to be doing what they do every day. My heart and prayers go out to his grieving family. God be with them and the soldiers still there in harm's way.

Will definitely be added to our daily prayers, as well. These men and women give up so much for us, as do their families.

God bless them all, and help them through these dark hours.

Life is good!

I remember hearing this on the news. Sad to hear that another one of our soldiers has lost his life to this cause. It would be so nice if this could all be over and our soldiers could return home to their families.....My thoughts and prayers go out to this brave man and his family.

Well spoken Roosevelt.

It's nice to see our country stand with our men of service again.
For awhile this wasn't so.

A young man from town here is home from Iraq to spend a little time with his family. I've known him since he was a wee one in school with my oldest son. As soon as he got home he got word that three under his command lost their lives just after he left. His leave has been extended so he can attend funeral services for these brave men. All from Michigan! May God Bless them and their families! After his attendance he will be returning to Iraq and will be there till September. Please pray that he returns safely to his wife and young children.
