Between that brute and the two "smaller" ones I cleaned and cooked for over four hours that night. WHEW!

Actually, Eliandco, if you take a look at my first post I said this about the first picture...

"First picture is me and, as Jon would put it, "my ugly mug". Brenda tucked the other two around the front of it, so it looks a little bigger in the first shot than what it is."

That is a picture of three hens all together. I wasn't trying to fool anyone. Nor should I have to be explaining my honesty or integrity. Here is a picture of just the one hen in my hands. My wife as my witness, it was 24.7lbs on a scale.

BRANDT Your word is good enough for me. That's for sure. Plus, I think that monster may be even be more then 24.7 LB. Great hen and good post my man.

I guess I just don't know that individual well enough to tell if he was playing around. I guess it was late at night, and I just got home and I was a little testy. No hard feelings. I probably over reacted. Sorry about that.

That's what I call a Hen Hernia!!!
I thought my all time biggest last week was big....but....NOPE!
I bet your eyes was as big as the plates you ate it off...good job!
