Maybe you should cook the turkey, make the stock, then your soup and can it. Of course you'll need a pressure canner!

Good idea, but Deb eats all the turkey. Nothing left for soup! LOL

after a turkey dinner i alway pick the turkey & then throw the carcas,onions & bay leaf in a big stock pot & simmer it till it basically falling apart then i strain it thru a cheese cloth i usually freeze it in quart bags. its great for everything soups, gravy
everything & that little bit of dressing thats always left inside the turkey adds soooo much flavor
