Brother Bob's Ribs

Brother Bob’s Ribs

#1 Buy Good Ribs
McCormick Meat Tenderizer
Paprika
French’s Yellow Mustard

Lay ribs on foil.
Use enough mustard to cover the entire rack.
Sprinkle generous amount of paprika and tenderizer onto mustard covered ribs. Cover both sides with the mustard paprika and tenderizer. Wrap in foil, loosely, but making sure all edges are sealed. Grill on low-medium heat. Turn every 15 minutes for an hour, up to an hour and a half. Remove foil and cook for another 15 to 30 minutes adding your sauce.
(Bobby…whoops, I mean Bob, uses Sunny’s Barbeque sauce. He says you can only get it in Florida).

Tracey,

I found this link to a bbq site that sell's sauce that may be the same one - not sure. It hails out of Florida.

I knows he buys the big bottles and I believe it's just the regular.
I'll be talking to him later today and I'll ask. He's very passionate about his ribs...so I guarantee I'll get a full ear
He "built" a stainless steel grill/smoker that's big enough to sleep in....It's awesome and huge. If it didn't cost sooo much to build, I'd have him build me one. He's the true cook in the family. If you only knew how long it took to get this recipe!

I asked Bobby today, exactly which sauce he uses. He said he uses the sweet, and doctor's it up a little. Using optionally, diced green peppers or sometimes garlic. Just whatever he feels like, basically.
He says ribs are his old thing...now he's onto steak marinades.
He said try a bunch of cloves of garlic, pureed. Add them to italian dressing and add either fresh or dehydrated parsley. Use it as a marinade for ribeyes. Says it's a pretty good marinade. I'll have to agree, since I've done this.
