Cougar track?

I had dimissed this as a large dog print... but... looking at a few different comparisons I'm not convinced... That's a AA battery simply for size reference. One pic is standard color and the other is with the colors inverted to show the back foot pad imprint somewhat better. I did not see, and looked for specifically, any claw marks which could also be absent on a recently groomed dog. Thoughts?

Dog track - after further reseach and getting a couple of other opinions from experience outdoorsmen... that rear pad is most certainly K-9. So I originally suspect but wishful thinking...

Not necessary to delete Vance.
Good photo of dog prints for other people to compare with.
Large dog prints are often mistaken for something else in the woods.

I have a large dog. her back pad is about as long as a double a battery and her front a little bigger. Not disputing that it's a canine track, just saying it's a very LARGE canine track.
