Chandler Hill finds

Here are the pics from our trip up to Boyne this past weekend. I have higher resolution pics, but I resized them so they would load faster.

Friday's total:

Pile of 'shrooms
Another pic of Friday's finds

Saturday's total:
Morels from Saturday

Sunday's total:

Morels found Sunday
Another pic of the morels from Sunday

We weighed everything on a digital scale and all totalled up it came to just over 25 lbs.

Misc. morel pics:

Little cluster

Another little cluster

Couple of morels

Tall one

Nice find! There ended up being around 20 or so in this find. I wasn't able to fit them all in the picture, but there were all nice big yellows

Couple more nice big yellows

Trying to hide

Happy hunting if you're going up this weekend.

Thanks! We did pick a bunch, but there were actually three of us hunting. Trans Am WS6, myself and one other guy and we earned every one of them. Trust me. Talk about being sore the next day. I don't know how far we walked total, but we stayed out all day and didn't leave the woods until it was too dark to see the 'shrooms.

I think this weekend will be just as good up there. Just be sure and get as far back as possible. That's where we had the best luck. And don't forget a handheld GPS.

I wish I was going.
