Buddy just called that I introduced to morels 3 years ago. ( after he laughed about hunting mushrooms). He got hooked and his son ate some and has been longing to hunt them. Timing was never good..... Until today!
Walked him to a spot over the phone and his 10 year old found his first blacks.... Maybe 25. The pic looked like his smile was gonna break his face.

Wish I knew some more crazies like his son. Lol

Good deal Jon.Nice of ya to help them out. It's great to see there are kids coming up that will enjoy the past time and outdoors and the rewards of hunting morels.

Way to go, Jon! That's the best feeling, to see a kid enjoying what God has given us, putting down the gadgets and games and learning about nature. Kids can kind of relate, because, after all, morel hunting is like an Easter egg hunt for grown ups, right? ;)

Blessed beyond measure!

I've taken my daughter with me on one hunt for each of the past 3 years. She loves it! But, she's 32 years old...
My grandkids (11 & 9), on the other hand, have no interest in doing all that walking to find something they don't even like to eat.

Just a few...
