Yellow Rumped Warbler...

Went out 3 hours yesterday. Not a single morel. Found what could have been a bucket full of Gyromitra. Wish they were edible - I've had the knack of finding those this year! LOL

The coolest thing of the day is I had a small bird hopping along the ground that I didn't recognize. It definately wanted to stay on the ground versus fly so at first I thought it was a chick of some sort. As I was getting my camera ready it flew at one point and it was definately mature - all feathers grown in, etc. I snapped a picture which, unfortunately, isn't great, but using the magnification feature you can get a good look at it. It sure looks like a yellow rumped warbler. New one to the collection for me! Any bird watchers out there?

The best lessons are those learned before you wish you had known better, especially when thinking edible mushrooms.
