Shaggy Parasols?

These are growing in my back yard under spruce. Are they shaggy parasols?
Isn't it too early for these?

Don't be afraid to venture a guess on the identification, I do not plan to eat them.

I have never seen them in the Spring. But all of your identifying characteristics say macrolepiota rhacodes. Still, I find it strange in May.

VERRRRRY strange. But, it appears to be true! Mike...What do you think? Have you ever heard or seen the Shaggy's in the spring?

Not in the springtime, but it looks like the stem is hollow, which leads me to be the reddening lepiota, mike

Thanks for the opinions. If I have another flush I will do a more detailed examination. Since the stem turned brown I think they were shaggies but I'll keep the reddening in mind when I check them out.
