lobsters

Got a few lobsters out of two different areas. Pictures showing them right out of the ground and then cleaned. How should i store some of these i'd like to use them about november 15th or so if i can.

I've sliced them and then dehydrated them, with fairly good success. They're a really granular mushroom so they reconstitute pretty close to fresh. I've never tried freezing them, but I don't see why not. You just might have to cook them from their frozen state. ( from the freezer to the pan )

What Dave said goes for me too. I've always just sliced them about 1/4 " thick and dry, then rehydrate before using.. But I imagine they would hold up well to sauteing and freezing too..

Nice haul Dave. You'll love those! Nice firm texture and great flavor.

Hi Dave,
I've been serching for Lobsters for 4 years with NO SUCCESS !
Yesterday I searched a dense pine forest where I was told they pop,
but came up empty! Can you give me the particulars on where to look.
I've found over 400 pounds of Hens and LOTS of all the other fall 'shrooms , but come up empty on Lobsters. I thank you for any information that you can give.
