Icon16 50 shades of brown

My favorite morel meal I make at least once a year.
I start with last falls goose, I cut the breast into small medallion steaks and fry them medium well with garlic pepper and a splash of soy. An onion or two gets chopped and grilled with olive oil and just a touch of maple syrup, the tricky part is not letting the syrup burn but put a slightly sweet crisp on the already delicious onion. A side of wild rice, and of course a big sack of butter fried morels.

Everything is served separate but is even more delicious when put together in one big pile on my plate.
