The mighty morel

As I drive from the hood to go to the woods In Search of the mighty Morel! I often think why do I put myself through such living hell.

Ticks, snakes, pickers and more. Oh crap my brand new pants just tore.
Tripped over a log, lost my only dog, cant stop yelling at my poor beautiful broad.
Searching for elm looking for dead ash, oh geez a mosquito just bite my on my a#@!
Crossed a creek, found out my boots have a leak, now my socks are wet and i am ready to jet! 10 foot from my car I kick this jelly jar only to find the most beautiful thing I have ever layed my eyes on, it was white about 1 inch round and it just lay there right in front of me on the ground. Could it be my first morel? I just could not tell. As I knelt to my knees I was in such disbelief that I had found a stupid freaking golf ball! Oh well.

I may not be the best at my quest for the mighty morel but I sure do know one thing, my world will never be a bore with this great informative board!

Yay Sdion100 Great post, fun time shared! We had an old post on things found in the woods and one I found in the middle of nowhere was a golf ball...I agree life is great shared with friends, thanks for sharing PS unlike Bluto from Animal House, golf balls are not edible no matter how much you cook them.

Very entertaining! Good job, indeed!

Just when you think you aren't going to find any morels, something pushes you to climb that next hill. And once you get over that hill, guess what you find? That's right. NOTHING!
