Blacks before whites

Yesterday I went out and found my first blacks in Ingham County. I have found many whites and I figured the blacks were not going to pop up this year. Is that unusual to find whites before blacks? Does anyone think the blacks could just be starting?

I found 42 blacks and 108 greys,whites, yellows today...we're in the middle of black and whites right now and you will find fresh blacks and old whites...I did today, am posting the picks in photo section under just morels.

Who knows mch1mzs....they are morels after all, they grow when and where they want to, thats all there is to it! lol
