2016 Buzzards

Just spotted our first buzzard of the year. He was feeding on a deer carcass along side of the road. Earliest I've ever seen one but I'm in a new county this year.

I saw some in Northwestern Midland County and Clare county yesterday also. Thought it was kind of early, given the cool weather of late.

I've been seeing them in Berrien County since around March 1st. They have become more common though in the last 7 days. I saw one on February 29th, then I saw one in Northern Indiana a week ago, and several on Friday flying over my property in Berrien Co.

They've been back in Ingham Co for 2 weeks. It's so nice to see them.

Noticed my first around Lansing just over a week ago. It is early for them.
