Happy 2011 Morel Season

Hello all.
Just joined here. Looks like a great board with all sorts of info. I can't wait to get started. To bad this site isn't mobile device friendly.

Well I will see ya around. Going to go do some reading.

Happy hunting

Re: Happy 2011 Morel Season

Greetings from a new member. I live just north of Bay City, MI near Linwood. Approximately when should I start looking for morels in my area? Thanks, Harper

Welcome Mike and William!

William - if you haven't already post an introduction thread of your own. Also, Google "Morel Progression Maps" and you should find what your looking for. I've never hunted Lindwood/Bay City area so I'm not exactly sure.

The best lessons are those learned before you wish you had known better, especially when thinking edible mushrooms.
