The only snow I've seen in the past week is the leftover piles in the mall parking lot, and the blocks of ice on Lake Michigan and the leftover ice on the piers in St. Joseph.

Hang in there, Yoopers, Spring is coming!

Trying to hang in. Really difficult. Winter has to leave right now. snow banks in the soo is are as tall as telephone poles.

This is how Bendix Woods in St. Joseph Co. Indiana looked on Saturday, 4/18/15. Morel hunting is not allowed in this park. I don't know how you'd find them under all the Spring Wildflowers.

That's beautiful! It sure doesn't look like that here in Ingham Co.
I'm afraid I won't see any of that before I leave the state. I was hoping to find at least one morel next week.

I haven't seen a gyromitra or devil's urn or scarlet cup... or dryads saddle... nothing!

Park Employees sprayed weed killer on an area that produced a mess of yellows.

That will keep the visitors from picking.
