Found falsies. No Morels up here yet.

But we are going back out to the same spot today. We are hopeing that these last few days of warmth has got the good ones popping.

I've been haveing a hard time finding those elms and ashes. But I just read that those red flower things on the ground are elm flowers. If thats true, then I've walked by plently of elms. But i'll be watching for them now.

We also got batteries for our portable gPs. I'm gonna mark every elm tree I find! LOL Wish us luck! We are still on the edge of the first Morels. And if my guts are right , they are telling me that they are out there if you're lucky enough to find a southern slope elm grove. Still waiting for that one. The woods are calling.
