I looked in all the spots and found this 6 pound brown Hen at the time today on my phone.

The fronds look more like a berkleys polypore. I dunno, something looks off from the hens I've seen. Anyone else think so?

Its a member of the meripilus complex, I find them this time of the year, they don't stain black, and do smell and taste great, as long as the are young like that one Brian, congrats on the find and enjoy it, mike
