Thumbs up They are still around

Hi folks We are still finding those beauties here in southern Michigan. Yesterday we found about 5 pounds of mixed colors. Some very large and the others in the medium range Did find some thin skinned end of season ones also. They are getting a bit toward the end of our season, but went to my late blooming, colder areas, and found numerous to pick. Have fun and good eats.

I am still finding them in Van Buren County. I find smaller greys that never get very big in the sandy soils in the western part of the county. I've left them behind before and they got about 2 inches tall, then their stalks got wider than the caps, then they shriveled up and fell over.

Yes jeff, I find those every year in one of my spots always under Autumn​ olive. They have a more elongated sponge look than the regular greys.
