I didn't have too much luck in Wexford Co. yesterday. I did find 8 small white morels along M-55 in my one spot, and one black morel at a higher elevation in Manistee N.F.
I spent about 6 hours hunting, maybe a few seconds picking.

How late do you guys think the season will go up there? I'm going up for a week starting around June 5th. Wasn't planning around morels but it would be pretty awesome if there were still some around that late.

You're very welcome. I'd say your health is lookin' pretty good if you can wander around the woods picking up 15lbs of mushrooms. If you have the dexterity to pick all of those mushrooms, typing shouldn't be too tough. Well done!

Re: manistee area report 5/20/ 19

I was thinking the same - latest I have found whites in Antrim is June 6 - I believe that was 10 years ago and the weather was wet and cool that year too. I am find a few that have lots of sun - no lack of moisture so hoping it will still end up be a year that produces nice numbers of morels
