caps and blacks
found over 180 caps and just a few blacks in the cadillac area i think its still a little early but they eat good all the same

...based on what I've recently learned from miker I was thinking the same thing Gary. It's hard to tell sometimes with just a picture...

yes they r verpas but ive been eating them for 6 years now they need cooked longer then a regular morel but ive not had a problem with them

Yeah Joe,had that talk with a guy today about beefsteaks and verpas.Why in the world would anyone eat those when theres plenty of morels to go around.
Basskid,I hope you never have a problem with them,but then again thats the same thing others have said and all of a sudden they get sick or worse...good luck is all I have to say.. |

...ya know, I've had discussions with a bunch of people on the edibility of beefsteaks, and I'm sure the same applies to verapa, its a very personal decision. I'd beg people not to eat them but those that have their mind set to it will anyway. As for me and my house, we won't.

im just very careful about how much i eat at once and how i cook them and yes i also do eat the beafsteaks and am also careful about eating them to
