oysters??
Im pretty certain the big ones are oysters, but are the smaller black looking things oysters as well. Both im pretty sure are past their prime as well.
But they are in my neighbours tree, big old maple with a huge split down the middle. all i will have to do is wait for spring till they come again :) |

The dark ones, don't know, but the other ones are Pholiota of some sort. Definitely not oysters.

If they weren't so perfectly round, I would be certain that they were polyporous squamosus (Dryads Saddle).
That's still my bet, but not sure. Not pleurotus (oyster) in any way, shape, form. Ed |
