Michigan Spore Prints/Cultures

I am looking for Native Edibles, Medicinals, Non Edibles, Poisonous Mushroom Spore Prints/Cultures/Fresh Tissue for Cloning.

I am in need of Prints for Microscopy and Herbarium use. Also I am interested in Edibles and Medicinal Mushrooms or Prints or Cultures for Cultivation.

Mainly I am looking for Michigan
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum)
Shaggy Manes (Coprinus comatus)
Oysters (Pleurotus ostreatus)
Hedgehog, Sweet Tooth (Hydnum umbilicatum)
Maitake,Hen-of-the-Woods (Grifola frondosa)
Chicken of the Woods (Laetiporus sulphureus)
As well as ANY and ALL NATIVE MICHIGAN Species.

I am also looking for prints of all poisonous mushrooms found in Michigan For Microscopy reference.
For example,
Deadly Galerina (Galerina autumnalis)
Destroying Angel (Amanita bisporigera, Amanita virosa)
Amanita spreta
Fools Mushroom (Amanita verna)
Death Cap (Amanita phalloides)
Fly Agaric (Amanita amerimuscaria, Amanita muscaria var. Formosa, etc.)
Panther Mushroom (Amanita pantherina)

And prints of ANY and ALL Michigan species that cant be cultivated for Microscopy purposes.
For example
Chanterelle
Black Trumpet Chanterelle
Polyporales
King Bolete
Etc.

Also would like to add, I am looking for all Amanita Species.
If you have amanita looking mushroom, and dont have ID of it, I will take spore samples and dried tissues for examination under a microscope for identification. DO NOT EAT ANY AMANITA YOU DONT HAVE PROPERLY IDENTIFIED AS EDIBLE. AVOID EATING AMANITA'S ALL TOGETHER.

Dont know how to Take a Print?
  • Cut the stem off the FRESH mushroom.
  • Place the mushroom lamellae (Gills, Pores, Teeth, etc) down on a piece of aluminum foil. Make sure the Foil is at least double the size of the mushroom cap.
  • Place a cup, or container over the mushroom and foil to prevent drying.
  • After 6-10 Hours, remove cup and mushroom cap.
  • Now very carefully, fold the aluminum foil without touching the Spores, or the side of the foil where the spores are located, being careful not to press to hard, as you may damage the spores.
  • Once folded, fold all the edges of the folded foil to make a seal.
  • Label if possible.

I will take all Identified and unidentified spores.
Please provide a picture with the spores.

I will take any and all prints, cultures, etc. As long as they were found in Michigan.
I am gathering a large collection for Herbarium use, and Microscopy Reference, and outdoor cultivation of Native Species for Permaculture.

Contact me here via PM, or contact me by email via Diehl11C@gmail.com
I will take donations, I will take them for identification purposes, I may be willing to purchase depending on what they are, and I will pay for postage in some cases. Contact me and we will figure it out.

Thank you for your time, and Happy Hunting!
