Warren Woods. 9/15/12

Here are some pics I took at Warren Woods State Park in S. Berrien County on Saturday.
Some of my pics of what I think are Ringless Honey Mushrooms can be found here:

Here are the other pics.
The first is a fallen log with Pear Shaped Puffballs. Then a picture of some Leak fruits followed by misc. mushrooms I have yet to identify.

Jeff... the bright pinkish-orange on in the last picture... was is terrestrial or on the log? Color almost makes it look like a cinnabar...

For a starting point the 3rd. 6th.& 7th. pictures look like an Oudemansiella, possibly radicata. And the one you are holding looks to me like Entoloma abortivum ( non aborted ) Where there any white masses around the area ?

The last picture with the mushroom with the quarter is one that was on the log in the previous picture. I've posted another photo of them.

White masses? Not that I see in my pictures, though some of those non-aborted entolomas as you call them did have white masses around their bases.
I see in the audubon guide that those start out as a white mass.

I'll agree that those in the 3rd, 6th and 7th are Oudemansiella radicata.
