Laetiporus cincinnatus, white pored chickens.

Western Washtenaw county. I saw two of these today. Black oak. The parts I took from this one weighed 3.3 lb and were in good condition. Hope my picture won't look too bad.
There were two dozen other species. Many boletes. Ones like B. edulis were too old (the one down here has cylindrical stem, it's not like the one I get up north), new Tylopilus fellus by the hundreds (why can't they be good?), B. pallidus, and several others.
