A Stinkhorn in St. Joseph! (Berrien Co.)

I noticed a Stinkhorn growing in landscaping woodchips in the WWII Veterans' Memorial in St. Joseph, MI early this morning.
There was a withered one a couple of feet from a fresh one.

I found some in my back yard in area where trees were taken out 2 yrs ago, and I've been filling holes w/sawdust and compost.

I had to laugh when I looked them up and found the name: Elegant Stinkhorn. LOL
