mushroom identification

Hi my name is Sean I'm new here and not much of a mushroom hunter yet. I found a few mushrooms and wondered if anyone could tell me what they could be

Re: mushroom identification

I want to get better at mushroom hunting. I always try to find morels in spring but never have any luck. I usually wind up stumbling around in the woods talking to myself lol. After about 30 minutes of not finding anything my mind tends to wander, I'm just not sure where to start looking...What trees to look around, that kind of thing. Anyways I noticed a variety of mushrooms popping up around my yard and thought they were cool it's hard to try and identify them

Re: mushroom identification

the link ending 4dp might be honey mushroom, in pretty good condition. The one before might be the same thing that's way over the hill. It's pretty variable. I've been eating it more this year, cause I've been seeing some in great condition and they are pretty good, but not as choice as some of the most famous shrooms.
