September 3rd - Unidentified

This first one was growing in a large group on wood, each one single. Cap is white while the gills are a shade of brown. Funnel to vase shaped due to depression in center of cap. Odor - not distinct.

This one was also fruiting on wood. Small. Viscous - I brought these home for further ID help.

close miker, but these are much whiter and the gills didn't have that pinkish look to them. We did find a few unaborted though. I keep forgetting what we found....lol

No HWF, they didn't lactate at all. Very firm. That one still remains unidentified which surprises me. A very striking mushroom with plenty of macro features that I thought would make it easy.
