Weather service has issued a freeze warning for my area tonight stating temps will be below freezing for at least six hours. What will a six hour freeze do to the morels that are already up? What will it do to those just starting to fruit? I'm almost afraid to ask.

Thanks for your input.

That's a good question. I was curious myself. I know it's not uncommon to get a freeze late in April or early may for a night though. I'm thinking things will pop back. I don't know about right afterwards, or if it will even effect it though. Good question.

Completely obsessed with fungi.
