Personally I prefer a Garmin or a Tom Tom. They are easier to opperate. I have used the Garmin C530 and C330, and they are easy to use. I have also used the older Tom Tom, with no problems.
I work at a place that sells them, and we get alot of returns of Magellan units, cuz they are harder to opperate. Although some people love them.
The Lowrance units, XOG, get returned cuz the battery in them only last about 2hrs. out of the car. I hope this helps.
